Anybody recommend a decent 5 mil eyepiece under £50?

you would also not do at all badly with an orthoscopic third from last on this page: http://www.telescopehouse.com/acatalog/End_Of_Line_Products.html

but do remember, it can be tricky (impossible) to view through an ortho if you have glasses.
