Horizon 8115 heavy duty binocular tripod/stand

I`ve got a pair of 25 x 100 Orion Explorer bins which weigh about 10.5lbs and I`d like to know if the Horizon 8115 tripod is strong enough for them?

Does anybody have any experience of this mount?

Hi Albatross.

I bought the Horizon tripod for my 25x100 Revelation binos and it works a treat.

I am 5ft 11" and find the height limit to be spot on, As for weight capacity i think it could take more if it had to (as long as you balanced the binos correctly).

I own this tripod and use it like Jamie does with the Revelation 25 x 100 bins with no probs, i also use it with my William Optics scopes and 102 mm maksutov for grab and go use, cannot see you having any weight issues with the Orion bins.
