How do I update my telescope with Starry Night Enthusiast 6?

Can anyone please tell me how I might update the object locator on my Orion xx12i Dob?

I now have the software (Starry Night Enthusiast 6) on my home computer and have all the necessary cables.

Scope: Orion xx12i Dobsonian

EPs: 21mm Ethos

13mm Ethos

8mm Ethos

3.7mm Ethos

Misc: 2inch Big Barlow

Parracor Type 2

Telrad finder /

Various filters

I may be wrong but I don't think you can update the telescope object locator like that. You can use Starry Night to control the telescope from your PC and use the starry night database to point at objects.

I would think that any update comes fro Orion, and usually software updates are functional not data.

Orion are fairly well known for not supplying spares and I cannot see why software would be any different.

Thanks. I think I'll drop note to Orion Technical Support. You see, as a part of the pack I had received when I bought the light bucket, was a Starry Night disk. I have a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed with the answer they give me.
