Skytee 2 modifications

Does any one have details on how to either fit the simple EQ 5 motors to the Skytee 2. I've seen a few topics on here and pictures on the web but I can't see any actual detail on how to DIY yourself?

Also, has anyone determined how to fit a couple of encoders so they can use digital setting circles? I'd love to bolt on a couple along with a Sky commander. I can then connect via skyfi and skysafari to manually navigate the night sky?

Thanks but that thread doesn't go into any detail. I don't think the motor units simply bolt on?
