So, the first week of July was one with 5 clear nights here in The Netherlands, and those were spent to finialize my Messier 27 project, for which I had gathered some 3 hours of Ha data in the beginning of June. In the end I shot 9 hours 40 min worth of Ha, and 10 hours of RGB. These data resulted in 3 images, all shot with my trusty Peltier cooled Canon 350Da and 8" Newton on NEQ6, guided with 9x50 QHY5/Finderguider. More details on my website. M27 in H-alpha: http://www.astroviru...M27Ha-2013.html, M27 in RGB: http://www.astroviru...27RGB-2013.html, and finally the 19 hours and 40 min (personal exposure record on a single target for me) M27 HaRGB: http://www.astroviru...aR-GB-2013.html. A special thanks to US astrophotographer Scott Rosen for his help in correcting the greenish starcolor that gave me some headache in the HaRGB image.post-6675-0-39647100-1374057295_thumb.jp post-6675-0-93042300-1374057204_thumb.jp post-6675-0-50672000-1374057233_thumb.jp
