June 8, 2013: Satellite crossing the sun's disk?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I forgot to to mention in my report that I spotted an object crossing the sun's disk. It was clearly no aeroplane or bird, as it showed no wings. It was too irregular in shape for a weather balloon. I thought it might be a Chinese lantern, but then I realized it was moving west to east, whereas the wind was north-easterly, so it was moving the wrong way. I am more-or-less left with satellites. It cannot be either the ISS/Albert Einstein (no transit at that time). The only object CalcSky gives seems too small and a quite bit too fast.
