Moon filters for a DSLR?

Hi guys..

i have been doing photography using my DSLR of the moon and been getting suprising results ... now i am trying to find a moon filter to use on my Pentax k100d .. is this possible because i can not find these anywhere? i am sure i heard of someone using a filter of some sort on a DSLR before to improve images .. i have just ordered some UV filters.

How about a red filter? you can turn the red into grey in the software processing later.
