Connecting camera to telescope

Hi i have a dobsonian 8" sky watcher telescope and a nikon d300 camera and was wondering if someone could give me a link to the adapters i will need to connect the camera to the scope - i also have a 2" eyepiece adapter that came with scope ? many thanks

You'll need a T ring like this:http://www.firstligh...rs/t-rings.html althought there may be cheaper ones available.You can then use the base from the 1.25" ep holder which unscrews to screw into the T ring

sounds a silly question but do i connect the camera with the lens on or off ?
