Stupid question i know, but if we can only see one or two deep sky objects out there, does that mean that ALL the stars we see in the sky are just in our Milky Way? My head will never be able to get over the vastness of it all :(

Not only that but virtually every star we can see with the naked eye is within our section of one arm of the galaxy - the Milky Way is merely another arm of our galaxy (well, its two different arms depending on which way you are looking).
