Trapezium (Acuter style)

Recommended Posts

As Orion is now becoming an easy subject to view from my site I thought I'd try for an image of the Trapezium using the Acuter Imager for a change. I usually use it for Luna and planetary imaging but I thought I'd give it a try on a bright DSO. The result can't be called spectacular but I find it quite interesting.

In an inverted view more stars are visible but there appears to be no trace of nebulosity, which was a surprise.
