The XW's are superb - I have the 5mm and 3.5mm. The 5mm gives 318x with my OO 12" F/5.3 which sounds a lot but I've had quite a lot of use out of it. The 3.5mm gets plenty of use with my other scopes which are shorter in focal length although I have used it on the moon with the 12" OO to pick out craterlets in Plato and the Alpine Valley rille, amongst other things. Flying over the lunar surface at 454x is a lot of fun !
