Aldi are currently selling a pair of 10 to 30 x zoom binoculars 60mm apeture for £12.99. They will also be selling a weather station with radio controlled clocked for 17.99 which looks like its got loads of features for the money.

Picked up one of the Weather Stations today amazing for the money only £16.99 includes remote sensor and battries. The unit gives reading of pressure, temp and humidity (Inside and out). It also tells you sunset and sunrise times aswell as moonrise and moonset. It also picks up the time from a radio signal and has an alarm feature.

Suspiciously similar to the one I use on the 22" - I have the remote temp/hygrometer inside the mirror box and the main station outside. That way I can tell the difference in humudity between the mirror surface and the outside air and know when to hit the fans (when the difference gets too much for example). ANyone with a big dob should have one. (and they are wicked gadgets too - how many scopes get their own weather station?)
