I live in a row of terraced houses which back on to a leisure centre. Guess what they have taken to doing over the last few weeks, they now leave two massive spotlights that shine over my garden on.

I was out with the scope and bins til after midnight and they were still on, blazing away like two football stadium floodlights. I think it's time to get in touch with the centre management, council or get the spanners out for a midnight floodlight alignment session.

To top it all off the council seem to have started leaving more streetlights on over night, time to release my inner Victor Meldrew

I''m pretty sure if you complain that the light is preventing you from sleeping they will be forced to turn them off by the authorities

Thats the plan. "its keeping the kids awake at night guv, honest....."
