The largest telescope ive seen through is our local observatories 20+ inch old school reflector and I remember seeing Saturn but I was very little and don't really remember details that well. Have any of you got to see through the super large modern scopes?

I've looked through the Northumberland Telescope at the IOA in Cambridge, they do weekly public astronomy talks and observation nights, really good events. The scope used to be one of the world's largest refractor telescopes. Was very interesting because it has a long history, about 150 years old.

The IOA have a 36 inch modern reflector as well, apparently the biggest in the country? I would love to be able to look through that!
