PannStars from Plymouth 13-03-2013

Managed to catch a glimpse from Plymouth of comet Pannstars.

Nice one. A really good pic there. I tried to spot the comet myself tonight with my 10x50 binos but no luck. There was an annoying layer of cloud on the horizon from where I was observing which eventually cleared but I still didn't get a view. Cloud cover permiting I'll have another go tomorrow night. Nicely done! Didn't think it would be so far below the moon but the sky sure did clear up well this evening for the eagle eyed amongst us.

Thanks guys, It did clear up nicely for a change.

We had wind, sun, cloud, hail and a bit of sleet today in Plymouth. I did a bit of solar imaging as well, in between all this weather :-)
