Focus Conundrum

Hello,

So far I have done planetary imaging with a point grey firefly mono and the stock 2x barlow in my 200p. I often pop an eyepiece barrel in the barlow just to magnify a tad more than 2x. (My flickr is in my sig)

Looking at the focuser it is generally only around 1cm out!

Anyway, I have bought an altair astro 3x barlow. And I want to try my hand at rgb imaging with the scope, filters and filter wheel.

My question,

Will the 3x barlow, which has a longer barrel than the 2x, bring the focus point outward, (more than 1cm out of the focuser if you understand what I mean).

I'm worried that if it doesn't, then surely I will not have enough inward travel with a filter wheel. Unless I get a freakishly (impossibly) slim one.

Everything is 1.25".

Dan
