Charging Car Battery

I currently own one of these:

Does anyone know if I can plug this in to the wall to charge, and then connect the jump start leads to a second battery to charge that?

Hello Hightower,

Yes you can charge a battery using that method but it will take an extremely long time to do so. I would assume 12 plus hours but I guess it comes down to how flat the battery is you wanna charge. I also wouldn't recommend making this a common practice as the life of your jumper/booster pack will drop a considerable amount as its not really designed to be a trickle charger

Yeah, for the sake of £20 for a proper charger I think I might just shell out.

A decent quality, muli-stage charger is an investment that will extend the service life of your batteries... Both car and power pack.
