Canon 350D CF card

My 2nd hand 350D arrived today minus a CF card, as I know zero about dslr's can anyone point me to a link for one that would be good for AP.

Go for transfer speeds, but do a quick search to double check it's compatible .

Alternatively just connect to a laptop/PC and download directly to your HD via EOS Utilities/ APT or BYEOS.

The 350D will only "fully" use cards up to 8GB ... I used to use 2 and 4GB cards with mine the latest higher speed cards dont make that much difference in the 350D (max write speed of the camera is around 4MB/s) but will speed up reading if you use them in a decent card reader on the computer.. I recently upgrade to a USB3.0 card reader for use with my UDMA6/7 (90+ MB/s) cards and its very speedy setup...

I nearly alweasy used to go for the Card + Computer option... that way you have 2 copies of your subs just in case something goes wrong...

Good Idea thanks. I dont suppose u know of a link to the 350D's user manual ( I keep getting lead to link after link of nonsense I dont want/need) with mine been 2nd hand all I got was the body, charger & camera bag (The bag will make it look like I know what I'm doing )
