problem with my eq5 upgrade kit.

hello all.

Got my goto synscan upgrade kit today and I followed a post by someone on these forums as the provided instructions were terrible. problem I'm having is when I come to do the 3 star alignment . when I chose a star and it says view object?. my handset just beeps and no motors move. infact they don't move at all. it sounds like I hear a click then the handset just beeps.

I'm pretty sure I set the cogs up right. do I have to loosen anything else on the mount?
