Stargazing buddy peterborough

Hi guys I'm looking for a buddy to go stargazing at a dark site near peterborough as I feel it is a safer way to enjoy this fascinating hobby . I am happy to discuss possible venues anyone interested let me know Simon

I think its great to have an observing buddy. Safety in numbers etc. My observing buddy is a 5 yr old Yorkshire Terrier.

I'm sure there must be astronomy societies near where you live that you can join and go observing with?
