'Image Stabilise' Your Binoculars

Thought I'd put up this link that I found yesterday.

I was thinking of making a tripod mount or even a 'P-mount' for my binoculars but both seem to have drawbacks especially in negating the freedom that bino's allow.

This DIY project surely looks ridiculous but it seems as if it will work beautifully - I made one yesterday and it seems to give rock-steady views on distant terrestrial objects; just need a clear sky to try it out on!
