Dew Heater Tape Question

Hey guys,

if I order a dew heater tape that is an inch too long does this matter? Will it just "wrap round" on the velcro a bit more? Or wil that extra inch just be slack? Or worse it wont sit tight against the tube?

I just overlap them....

I suppose that there naybs an argument that you are adding extra heat into the overlapping part but I can't say I have noticed any probs...
