Celestron NexImage CCD - any use for Autoguiding?

I've heard that the above does a passable job as an autoguider, but does anyone have any experience of this? Also, how well does it cope as a lunar / planetary imager?

The old one is just an old webcam, which may be limited at guiding (no longer exposures).
