The old one is just an old webcam, which may be limited at guiding (no longer exposures).

You would get more with FireFly: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Point-Grey-Research-USB-2-0-Digital-Camera-/290775732058?_trksid=p4340.m1850 which got even community ASCOM driver for guiding work http://www.webastro.net/forum/showthread.php?t=97230&page=3
