I don't use them at all at the moment. I have a 2 inch focuser. I actually have a Baader 1.25 "neodymium and IR cut" filter I got as part of a kit of bits I bought with my second hand 80ED but I never use it since my focuser is 2 inch.... Are there adapters i could use to utilise this filter on that scope? Or is it best to buy a 2 inch one? They are not cheap I notice....

Is the light cone from a 80ED refarctor of a diameter to use the 1.25 filter or would I be wasting the light with an inline adapter of some sort?

My biggest issue is skyglow from my suburban backyard area. Is Neodymium the way to go?
