Also in your opinion its now EQ6 is the 'minimum' when alot of others have said 'HEQ5' ... mine field ! lol

You were originally talking about an 200P.... then you threw the 250 into the mix which is bigger and heavier than the 200p - hence the comment about the EQ6 being the ideal mount.

Visual:

150P on an EQ3

200P on an EQ5

250p on an HEQ5

300P on an EQ6

Imaging:

150P on an EQ5 (with the limitations discussed above)

200P on an HEQ5

250P on an EQ6

Anything above the 250P for imaging would (IMO) really need a better mount, which is seriously out of your budget
