okay.. one last on Skywatcher syncscan goto..

Hi folks,

Sorry, but one last question on this. has anyone tried using the skywatcher syncscan goto on a CG 5 mount. Of the many I asked, most seem to say "why not" but I haven't heard of anyone who has actually tried it/seen it being used/used it in the past.

I am about to order this.. So any words of advise before I jump in, will be much appreciated.

I'd suggest talking to Rus - I know he's fitted one to a Vixen GP (it lives in my shed!) - and he's also owned a CG5 so would be the best bloke to advise you.
