I recently shaved the eyepiece holder of the PST so finally I can get focus without using a barlow, and that means I can get the sun in one go. And there is it above. Actually it was a bit of an anti-climax. Since I have been imaging in two halves with a barlow, I'm used to seeing the extra detail that gives, and this seems a bit small in comparison. Can't win can I?

It's very good but yes you do get used to detail and it's difficult to go backwards, but when you need a quick fix it is worth it
