Whilst doing some research on Watson`s of High Holburn, London, famous microscope makers. I came across a catalogue that said they also made astronomical instruments, doing a search I came across an auction site that recently sold a 5" Watson Conrady objective telescope for the small some of £8,125. A beautiful looking brass telescope on a Mahogany tripod. Wonder if it would match to-days quality optics?:)
