Cloudy with a chance of Lunar

Well a diminishing chance it would appear, I managed to get about 20 minutes observing the moon this evening but the clouds are rolling in over Reading from the west, so I think that's probably it for tonight.

I thought I'd come inside and check out which crater I've been looking at near the southern end of the terminator, it looks like someone has just taken a bite out of the moon :)

It seems the forum is fairly quiet this evening, perhaps others are blessed with clearer conditions right about now?

In the same position as you, mate; in more ways than one. I too saw the clouds role in, and boy didn't they look heavy with rain? luckily i didn't have my full set up out and only ST80 on the moon for a quick retreat. It didn't rain though! Still good views of the moon though between clouds.
