Someone is having a Solstice Party

Maybe. I'm working late tonight and heard rumbling outside, so went to the back door to investigate. At first I thought it was someone shooting, but the sound isn't right. Not unless they've brought in some fairly huge cannon. After listening for a while I came to the conclusion that it is fireworks.

It is, of course, absolutely hissing down.

Makes you wonder where they store the fireworks for the rest of the year doesn't it? They always seem to have some available whatever the occasion.
