Lleyn Peninsula

My new scope arrives in a week or two, and I'm hoping that a) it arrives before I visit Abersoch, and b ) it'll fit in the car with all my other stuff!

It's going to be a big scope, so 'b' is a worry, but looking on Need Less Light, it looks like the Lleyn peninsula is not to be missed! Maybe I need to invest in a roof rack to ensure there's space inside for the scope!

It's doubly important as my previous scope is out of action, so it's big dob or the tiny bins!

The skies at the Lleyn Peninsula should be superb.You should buy a roof box it will leave more room for more important asto equipment .What Dob have you bought ?

Oh, I'd never thought about the Lleyn - good idea, although Gwynedd County Council are gponna be pretty pee'd with you with the influx of astronomers

Yeah, looks like Lleyn should be pretty dark. Roof box is a great idea!

The scope is a flextube 300.

Fingers crossed the frequent delays on Chinese imports doesn't hit too hard!
