Equinox 80ed piggyback

I have an Equinox 80ed which I would like to put on top of my 250mm reflector sometimes.

What is the best way to do this? The 80ed has a shoe foot which fits in to a standard doveplate on the mount.

Could I attach another doveplate to the reflectors tube rings somehow, or do I need to buy tube rings for the 80ed?
