Polaris Declination

Recommended Posts

I am doing a little experiment and was wondering if anyone was able to show me how to work out when Polaris is at zero azimuth from my location? Using Stellarium, it shows for example, 23:45 but cross referencing this with C2A, its a full 10 minutes difference. I'm thinking that the J2000 and JNOW figures may come into this but now am considering the accuracy of either. Does anybody know a way of accurately finding/working this out using my own longitude and latitude information?

Many thanks

Matt
