GT81 Flattener

Hi all,

I have just had chance to use the William Optics GT81 with its designed Field Flattener. I managed to get 50 subs on friday from the back garden, and i am pretty happy with the results. The only thing i am a little disappointed about is the fact William optics have not included a focal reducer in this flattener.

I also own a WO FFII, which is great in my WO Megrez 72, but not so in the GT81. But with the incorporated x0.8 reducer collecting data is much easier.

As with all William optic equipment, it is well packed, bell built, and aesthetically pleasing.

It does work as designed, gives very good results...
