Hi folks, The weather said clearing last night to view the "Supermoon" so I was going to set up the scope for the neighbors to peep. At 7:00 pm the clouds still had not parted,so I decided IF it happened I would use the 20X80 binos. Well, at 8:50 clear sky, out with the set-up. I observed the Moon for about an hour and then started to packup. Before going in I checked out Saturn, now fairly high up. To my surprise I could cleanly resolve the planet and rings at 20X SWEET! As an extra treat two moons also were clearly visible. A nice finish to a fine night...Len ;)
