Red LED Head Lamp?

Got me a few note books, so i can scribe my settings, ect. basically a "Log / Notes book" While Im photographing the night sky.

Was wondering if im Behind my camera, with a red LED head-lamp on. Will it effect my camera? Ide be looking down, towards my lap/feet of the tripod while i write.

But was also wondering if im looking at the back of my camera with the same soft red LED light, fairly dim but allows me too see.. So i can view what settings i have set...will it negatively effect my cameras ability too take astrophotos?

Mind you im behind my camera the entire time.. never infront of it or too the sides of it.. always behind it, when my lights on.

There are Blanking plates that fit over the viewer, that should solve the problem....

I doubt it will have any effect Len, just don't shine a light down the business end
