Your Favourite Spring / Summertime Views?

Hi all,

Haven't used my CPC 800 for the last 3 weeks because of the bad weather. Really looking forward to getting it out again soon. I know i can just use software, but i'm curious about what are your favourite views at this time of the year and over the coming months. I've been blown away by many of the Winter ones like M42, M35 etc.

Hi Zaine. I'd be really interested in what people think on this as well. All I know is that I cannot go out for a stargazing session without turning my scope to Saturn. Obvious and boring maybe but every time I see it I am blown away. No idea when it goes out of view so making the most of it.

Hi, It`s about this time of year I resume my love affair with M13, the great globular cluster in Hercules.

Really is a magnificant sight.....

The Veil Nebula complex in Cygnus is by far my favorite spring / summer target. I can get both the east and west segments in the same field of view with my 4" F/6.5 refractor, 31mm Nagler and O-III filter - it's a simply wonderful sight in my opinion
