  1. Hi All, I've spent around £2000 on my gear but want to sell my hardly used kit. How much could i expect to get back?
  2. If you could setup your Telescope anywhere in the Solar System in a protective bubble for the night where would you go? I'd like to get setup on the moon of Mars. You could then get great views of Mars, Jupiter Saturn and even have a look back at Earth. it would be an amazing place to observe from.
  3. Ps... I was on a iPhone 5. Not sure if that would make any difference?
  4. if you have a iPhone download the App Nightmode. It slows the aputure right down. That pictures was taken on 1/15 the normal speed.
  5. Hi, I was using a Baader Hyperon Zoom on the lowest power.
  6. I also used a App to really slow down the aperture speed of the camera on my phone.
  7. Hi all managed to get my first picture of the moon tonight. I was holding my iPhone 5 up to the eyepiece of my CPC 800 and trying to keep my hand as still as possible in the freezing cold. I'm really pleased with how it came out.
  8. Just downloaded this app. Supposed to be great: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/night-modes/id572215621?mt=8
  9. Hi Guys, Would it be possible to use my iPhone 5 to get some great video/photos of what i'm looking at through my scope. I have a Celestron CPC 800 and Baader Zoom 24-8mm eyepiece. Thanks...
  10. Apparently it's going to get quite close in 2029 or 2036 and could actually hit with the force of a 506MT bomb. http://news.sky.com/story/1035995/doomsday-asteroid-that-could-crash-into-earth
  11. Hi All, I've been into Astronomy for almost a year now and really enjoyed it. I'm thinking of selling my Celestron Eye Piece and Filter Kit cheap and replacing it with a Baader Hyperion Zoom Eyepiece. My only annoyance is having to keep changing eye pieces in the dark. I really feel this will be perfect for me. Does anyone have and experience with a Baader Hyperion Zoom (MKIII)? It will most likely be the only eyepiece i will own. Want to simplify. Thanks...
