best focal reducer?

I have a clestron se8 with a solar filter. I also have a meade DSI II what would be the best way to see the whole sun? now I can only see a partial view. I dont want to spend money on things I dont need. I am trying to get everything in order for the venus transit. Thanks for all the help.

I would have thought some solar film would sort that out there's a few on the market. If you up for a bit of DIY if not then buy a pre made one,
