Fun day of observing :)

So my solar filter arrived today, and, I enjoyed an hour or two of looking at the sun, there wasn't much going on at the moment as far as sunspots, though, sometime I did notice more than the 2 I saw at first. I think I saw 5 sunspots. There were times when the sun just got really dark and it looked out of focus, I was wondering why that might be? Other than that it was fun. No granulation yet, though the conditions were almost perfect.
