Hi,

I hope this is of interest to some.

This day long event has five speakers talking about various aspects of spaceflight. Details below. The list includes David Woods, author of "How Apollo Flew to the Moon". At fiver for the whole day – it works out to a quid per speaker, perfect for our time of austerity!

This is a British Interplanetary Society sponsored event for anyone interested in spaceflight. The BIS does not get out much (of London:) so this is an ideal opportunity for those based in the north.

The day will include a raffle and an opportunity to discuss developing a platform for more regular BIS Northern meetings.

You don’t have to be a BIS member – all welcome.

Date: Saturday 19th May 2011

Venue: Denham Room Priory Street Centre, York , Y01 6ET

Cost: £5.00 – Full day event – Seating 50 max.
