Guiding options for Vixen GP and ST4

Hi,

I have a Vixen GP mount and ST4 guider.

I want to guide a Vixen VISAC 8" F9.

I just have a RA motor and DDR-1 handset.

SH there are LDX55/75 goto.

New there seems to be Synscan?

I want to control from an Android tablet in the field or from the house 50' away at home.

Would a AR80S 80mm F4 or a AE Star-chaser 80mm F8 be suitable as the guide scope.

The AR80S would be useful as a rich field holiday scope. Or for wide field imaging guided by the VISAC?

The current Vixen D3M dual axis drive will accept ST4 input. However, if you want to control you scope using a tablet or from a distance, you will probably want Synscan with the appropriate upgrade.
