New favourite toy?

IS DMK41 mono arrived today for solar/lunar work. Thank you FLO.

How solid is that? Boom, super clear.

But I also bought a few CS/C mount wide angle lenses for AllSky work. The 2.1mm f/1.2 lens I got on eBay for £8 is sweet. I would estimate 175degrees view, and gives a good sky view at 8ses exposure. Perfect for Lyrids these next few nights.

Also excellent as DogCam (on our Pugs), KitchenCam (as wife is cooking), BackOfHeadCam (for me messing about) but most impressively, as BatCam this evening. We have a small group of 10-15 Pipistelles nesting in our big shed and they showed clearly this evening.

I won't get into WaspCam. Already a huge nest and getting bigger by the day.
