Collimating a Celestron AstroMaster 114EQ

I have just checked the collimation of my 114EQ, and it looks to be off. How easy is it to recollimate the scope without any extra equipment? Looks relatively easy in the manual, but I dont want to end up with an unusable scope. Any suggestions?
