This is my very first image using a DMK21AU618 - no filters

The image was taken early evening before the clouds came in! I've stacked about 1200 frames in Registack and just played with a few sliders

To be honest I am a little worried that this new camera only seems to show white blobs unless I turned the gain right down and have the exposure at its absolute quickest - I've had a quick go at Mars but there is no way I can focus to achieve any details - is this normal

Not had the chance to try the moon yet - but worried the camera may be faulty - how will I know??
