The Venus transit

So I read that June 6 2012 is the only chance in my lifetime that I'll be able to observe Venus in transit over the face of the sun.

I would like to purchase or make a solar filter for my SW150P

Is there a filter I can buy or do I have to stick some solar filter film over the small cap that comes off the main tub cap?

If the latter, where can I buy decent film? I am naturally cautious that anything I do myself may end up blinding me

and of course it's bound to be raining that day anyway
