CELESTRON 94178 Reducer Lens with SPC900nc 1.25" nosepiece

Hi guys. I have spent the last couple of cloudy nights scouring previous threads and reading spec sheets online but I can't find a definitive answer. I have an SPC900nc which I have modded with the 1.25" nosepiece. The nosepiece takes standard thread filters no problem.

My question is, does anyone know if the CELESTRON 94178 Reducer Lens (for the neximage camera) will attach to a standard 1.25" nosepiece filter thread?

I don't know if the reducer will fit, I would doubt that it would. If you are considering using the reducer for lunar imaging personally I would not use one. The image you will end up with will not have the finer detail that the webcam would record without the reducer. Basically, you would see a greater field of view with the reducer but with less detail.

Cheers. It was on a 'popular auction site' and the seller finally got back to me. Apparently this will just screw into a 1.25 filter thread. Well, we shall see (although with less detail, obviously)
