Noels actiosn and blue stars

Is it best to use the actions to reduce Blue halos, on the combined LRGB or on the blue channel only?

Is this the blue star in your Leo Trio?

Ive had a play with it, not using Noles actions, but using the lasoo tool in PS and grabbing a wide margin around the star and using curves in the blue channel to pin the black point and high point and dragging the curve down a tad, then doing the same but for the RGB channel to dim the star down a tad, then using selective colour - blue , added yellow at 100% - twice..

You run Noel on the RGB or LRGB.

I agree with Martin for the rest. You might, in Martin's example above, end by using the noise filter to 'add noise.' (I know, I know!!!)
