"failed opening file" in AS2

I got a large number of AVIs last night but AS2 (both 2.1 and 2.1.0.5) give me an error "failed opening file xxxxxxxx frames yyyy" on some of them. I can't see any reports on AS website though 2.1.0.5 claims to have fixed bugs that sound rather like this.

Any ideas?
