7timer question

On 7timer, there's the blue to grey circle for astronomical seeing. My question is, what is that based on? I've got a few clear nights in a row with 0% cloud, however, astronomical seeing is the first grey circle. What sort of effect is that going to have?

hi bejii, i've had differing experiences wit 7Timer, on occasion its spot on, but many other times it's said the seeing is at 'best' (the small grey circle) and it's been hazy and/or poor seeing outside...

i tend to compare what 7Timer saud with the likes of other sites like MeteoBlue "sky" forecast as it provides a lot more detailed info regards sky clarity and seeing - in actual fact, i usually rely more on that site than i do 7Timer.
